Manchester United will officially unveil their 2026-27 home kit on May 14th, marking another significant milestone in the club’s partnership with Adidas ahead of their return to the Champions League.
The kit will be available on the United Store from 09:00 BST on Thursday, with fans able to purchase both authentic and replica versions.
The unveiling comes just three days before the Red Devils’ penultimate league fixture, giving supporters an early glimpse of next season’s new design.
The launch timing is particularly significant for United’s commercial operations. The kit deal with Adidas is believed to bring in up to £90m annually, though a clause in the agreement requires United to pay a £10m penalty to Adidas each time they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
With Michael Carrick’s side having secured Champions League qualification, this launch represents an opportunity to maximise the deal’s full benefits.
In addition to the home shirt, Adidas will introduce complementary kits for the upcoming season.
Following a growing trend among elite European clubs to unveil next season’s kits before the current campaign concludes, Manchester United are expected to debut the new home kit during their final two league matches.
Those games come against Nottingham Forest on 17 May, followed by a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on 24 May.
The kit launch also coincides with heightened activity in United’s transfer planning, with significant moves anticipated in the summer window as Carrick prepares his squad for a return to Europe’s premier club competition.
However, there is still some uncertainty about whether the ex-United midfielder will be given the managerial role permanently, despite the backing of multiple players.
