Ruud van Nistelrooy will be looking for a win in his final game as interim manager
Amad Diallo could be in line to retain his starting berth for Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Leicester after his starring role in the win against PAOK.
The Ivorian winger scored both of United’s goals in their 2-0 win over the Greek champions on Thursday night, finally leading them to their first Europa League win of the season at the fourth attempt.
Amad last started a league game in the 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace in September, and Alejandro Garnacho may make way for him against the Foxes.
Mason Mount made his latest injury return in the Europa clash, coming on late for the match winner, and is likely to continue from the bench, as will Antony, who is also back in contention.
Ruud van Nistelrooy will be looking to close out his interim run in charge with a win, which would confirm an unbeaten spell for him, and a perfect welcome gift for incoming head coach Ruben Amorim.
Manchester United predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Onana; Mazraoui, de Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Casemiro; Rashford, Fernandes, Amad; Hojlund
Injured: Yoro, Maguire, Malacia, Shaw, Mainoo
Time and date: 2pm GMT, Sunday, 10 November, 2024
Venue: Old Trafford
