Man Utd without three senior players for trip to London but Mbeumo fears allayed
Michael Carrick can name an unchanged side for Manchester United’s Premier League clash against West Ham.
Man United’s injury concerns have eased since the turn of the year, coinciding with the appointment of Carrick as head coach until the end of the season.
Still, Carrick will be without Mason Mount and Matthijs de Ligt for Tuesday night’s fixture at the London Stadium, though he is hopeful the former will be available for the Everton game after the FA Cup break.
“Mason will be probably not for Tuesday, probably after, but definitely going into the Everton game, he’ll be back,” the Man Utd boss told reporters on Monday.
“Matta, we'll see how he develops over the, you know… the Everton game feels like a long time away at the moment, so we'll see how he develops, but he's positive, he's moving in the right direction, but Mason's a little bit closer than him.”
With fears over Bryan Mbeumo - spotted limping after scoring in the 2-0 win over Tottenham at the weekend, allayed by Carrick in the pre-match press conference, it means Partick Dorgu is the only other senior player ruled out for the trip to the capital.
Matheus Cunha has come in for Dorgu over the past two games, scoring against Fulham, and is expected to keep his place on the left-hand side of the front three.

Carrick does have the option of Benjamin Sesko if Mbeumo or Amad require a rest, while Bruno Fernandes is set to continue in the No10 role ahead of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo.
Noussair Mazraoui's wait to dislodge Diogo Dalot at right-back is set to continue as Carrick can keep faith in a defensive unit that kept a clean sheet last time out.
Predicted Manchester United XI: Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Cunha; Mbeumo
Time and date: 8.15pm GMT on Tuesday, February 10, 2026
Venue: London Stadium
