Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (24) is once again on FC Barcelona’s radar. The Catalan club is reportedly considering the Moroccan winger as a potential alternative to replace England international Marcus Rashford in attack, according to Spanish daily Marca.

According to the same source, Barcelona’s management is exploring several options to bolster the left-wing position in the upcoming transfer window, should their pursuit of Rashford fall through.

The cost of signing the English striker could reach €30 million, not to mention his reportedly high salary, which is prompting Barça to look for more financially viable alternatives.

In this context, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli emerges as a credible alternative, especially since FC Barcelona still holds 20% of the player’s rights. Ezzalzouli is currently under contract with Real Betis in La Liga.
