Transfer insider Ben Jacobs reports that PSG are expected to bring in a versatile attacker in 2026, but he does note, citing sources, that a move for Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan to Barcelona from Manchester United, is unlikely at this time.

PSG are linked to various attacking players heading into 2026, with one of them being Vinicius Jr. SPORT have noted in the past that Vinícius Jr. would be willing to play for Luis Enrique in Paris.

How things progress is still unclear, though it could leave Mbappé watching a scenario that brings to mind Neymar Jr.’s move in Spain.

The Athletic reported Monday, citing sources, that Vinicius has told Real Madrid he does not plan to renew his contract while his relationship with head coach Xabi Alonso remains strained.

Moreover, the report notes that Vinicius spoke with Madrid president Florentino Perez late last month, and that’s when the message was passed along.
