Marcus Rashford

The 27-year-old played 78 minutes of Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Real Sociedad.

He almost opened the scoring when the ball dropped to him on the edge of the area but his strike was right at the Sociedad keeper.

Rashford did get his moment though when his well-taken corner found Jules Koundé who headed home Barca’s equaliser.

It was his third assist of the season in La Liga and two in as many matches.

He had another long-range effort in the second half that was just about cleared by Alex Remiro.

Rashford completed two key passes and made 77% of his passing attempts. He also tried hard to add his first La Liga goal as he had two shots on target, two off and two that were blocked.

Nonetheless, he could not find the back of the net.

Rashford could also only complete two of his seven dribble attempts and a poor two of nine ground duels were won.

He will next be in action when Barcelona host Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Rasmus Hojlund

The Dane played 73 minutes of Napoli’s 1-2 defeat to AC Milan.

In a performance many United fans would have recognised, he only touched the ball 16 times and completed seven out of 11 passes.

He also lost both his ground duels and did not complete any aerial contests.

More damningly, he also failed to have any shots of any kind during the game and never looked like scoring in such a crucial match.

Enzo Kana-Biyik

The French youngster played the final 22 minutes of FC Lausanne-Sport’s 0-0 draw with Sion.

He had one shot blocked and failed to complete any of his three dribble attempts.

In a poor showing, he also failed to connect with any long passes and made just two out of six pass attempts as he was left isolated upfront.

He still awaits his first goal for the INEOS owned club.
