Marseille have reached an agreement with AFC Bournemouth to sign attacking midfielder Hamed Junior Traoré (25) on loan with an almost-mandatory €7,5m option to buy, according to a report from RMC Sport. The versatile Traoré, who can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger, could be a welcome addition to Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, considering OM have sold Jonathan Rowe to Bologna.

Furthermore, the Italian manager would reunite with Traoré after their time together in Sassuolo. On the back of his performances with the Neroverdi, Traoré signed a five-year deal with the Cherries, but he never found his mark with the Premier League side. RMC Sport adds that Traoré’s move to Marseille could be worth €15m in taking into account performance-related add-ons.
