Marseille to rival Aston Villa for Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Marseille will be looking to prioritise a move for Toulouse FC goalkeeper Guillaume Restes (21). This follows the same report that suggested current OM number one Geronimo Rulli is reportedly heading to Premier League side Manchester City, who is close to an agreement with Les Olympiens over a transfer. Restes is reportedly interested in the move, and is currently under contract with Toulouse until 2028. The TFC number one made 33 appearances for Les Violets last season, and has 19 caps for France’s U23 side. Aston Villa are also reportedly following the 21-year-old keeper, in case Emiliano Martinez joins Juventus this summer. Marseille are equally working on a departure for their second goalkeeper Jeffrey De Lange, with Dutch side Twente interested in a deal.
