According to a report from L’Équipe, the purchase clause in Martin Satriano’s (24) loan move at Lyon will be automatically activated and see the move made permanent if the club retains their professional status for next season. Les Gones risked being relegated to the second division at the beginning of the season due to financial mismanagement.
Satriano has made 12 appearances during his time on loan at the Rhône club, but has struggled for form since he arrived at the Groupama Stadium. The Lens loanee has only scored one goal and registered one assist during his time at the club. Lyon are hoping to recruit a new striker in January and are in advanced talks to sign Endrick on loan from Real Madrid.
The Uruguayan international striker, on loan at OL from Lens, looks like he will become a Lyon player permanently. The €5m clause in his contract, which is conditional on Lyon’s financial status, should be activated unless the club’s finances take a turn for the worse.
