According to Coluna Do Fla, Manchester United and Brazil attacker Matheus Cunha posted a surfing clip on social media.
On Instagram he wrote that his level was far too high for them, and he added surfing emojis to a video of him in the sea on a board.
He also tagged Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese and Manchester United captain, plus Rodrygo of Real Madrid, alongside Lucas Paquetá of Flamengo.
Cunha has drawn attention in recent months for goal celebrations that mimic surfing, and the clip continued that theme in a light-hearted exchange with club and national team colleagues.
Cunha is a former team-mate of Lucas Paquetá, and both have been regular Brazil call-ups since the Dorival Júnior period and now under Carlo Ancelotti. They could feature together at the World Cup.
Lucas Paquetá joined Flamengo at the end of January after the club paid R$ 260 million at the time’s exchange rate. In eight appearances he has scored one goal and provided no assists.
