Mathis Touho and Antonin Cartillier sign for Rodez

Rodez have strengthened with the signings of winger Mathis Touho from Amiens and midfielder Antonin Cartillier from Rouen.

According to L'Équipe, Touho, 21, impressed over the past six months at Villefranche in Ligue 3, where the former France under-20 international was on loan from Amiens, his formative club relegated this summer to Ligue 3.

He completed a medical in recent hours and has signed a three-year deal with Rodez.

Cartillier, 22, is a versatile midfielder who can also operate as a wing-back. The Monaco academy graduate revived his career at Rouen after signing last summer in Ligue 3.

He featured in the promotion play-off, which Rouen lost to Laval, with results 1-1 and 0-1. Rodez finished fifth in Ligue 2 last season.
