Matt Jarvis urges Wolves and West Ham fans to unite after relegation | OneFootball

Former Wolves favourite Matt Jarvis has urged supporters of Wolves and West Ham to stay united after both clubs were relegated, saying togetherness could help them target an immediate Premier League return.

Posting on X, the winger said both clubs need rebuilding this summer, with questions over recruitment and possible changes of manager and players, and he asked supporters to stand behind them, noting the Championship is tough and hoping next season is more positive.

Wolves’ relegation, after eight years in the top flight, was confirmed in late April. They limped to the finish with back-to-back draws in a dismal campaign.

It is 14 years since their previous drop, when Jarvis was in the side. He made 175 appearances before leaving for West Ham in a £7.5m move as leading names departed.

Jarvis spent three years with the Hammers, who went down on the final day, their first relegation since 2011.
