Maxi Oyedele completes Strasbourg medical with Manchester United set to profit | OneFootball

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, RC Strasbourg Alsace are set to sign Maxi Oyedele (20) from Legia Warsaw, after triggering his €6m release clause. The Salford-born Polish international has completed his medical and will sign a contract lasting until 2030.

The midfielder came up through the Manchester United youth system, where he was given professional experience in loans to Altrincham F.C. and Forest Green Rovers. Last summer, he left his formative club and moved to Legia Warsaw. Manchester United will earn 40% of his transfer to the Ligue 1 side.

He made 24 appearances across all competitions for Legia Warsaw, including five matches in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Oyedele was part of the squad that surprised Chelsea by beating them 2-1 in the second leg of their quarter-final (albeit Legia Warsaw were eliminated from the competition, due to losing 3-0 in the first leg).
