Manchester United will entertain Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford this Sunday afternoon as they look to secure maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw away at Sunderland recently, so they would be keen on returning to winning ways in this game.

Michael Carrick will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Hence, Bryan Mbeumo will lead the line for the Mancunian giants up top.

Defence

Senne Lammens will feature in between the sticks for the Mancunian giants after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Lisandro Martinez will operate alongside Harry Maguire at the centre of the Man United backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Diogo Dalot will try to impress as the right-back, while Luke Shaw looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro will anchor the midfield for the Mancunian giants as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and creating some decent chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo will play just ahead of them as part of the Man United attack. All three of them would need to be at their best if the Mancunian giants are to secure a convincing win this weekend.

Patrick Dorgu and Mason Mount will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Bryan Mbeumo will spearhead Man United’s attack up top. He would be eager to put his pace to good use in the final third.

Benjamin Sesko will be in a race against time to be fit for this game as he continues to recover from a shin injury. However, Joshua Zirkzee will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
