Weston McKennie had been frozen out and on the verge of a move to Aston Villa, but now he is ready to sign a new one-year contract at Juventus.

The midfielder has had a troubled career in Turin, sent out on loan to Leeds United and then pushed towards Aston Villa as part of the Douglas Luiz deal, but failing to agree personal terms.
