Still a free agent after terminating his contract with Hatayspor, Vincent Aboubakar is in talks with three clubs over a potential move.

Vincent Aboubakar is not short of suitors this summer. The Cameroonian striker is currently negotiating with three clubs after the transfer window closed. According to ESPN, São Paulo—on the lookout for a new striker after missing out on Marcos Leonardo—has started discussions with the Cameroonian forward.

The Brazilian side has already made contact with the player’s entourage, but the deal remains tricky: the former Porto and Besiktas striker needs to lower his salary demands for the deal to go through. This is because the player reportedly has two other, more lucrative, undisclosed offers from elsewhere.

Europe could also be in line for Aboubakar’s return. In Lyon, his former teammate Rachid Ghezzal recently mentioned his name live on the show Le Club des Cinq. The Algerian had nothing but praise for his former Besiktas partner: "He’s a phenomenon, Abou! Alongside Lacazette, he’s the striker I had the best chemistry with. In front of goal, he’s a killer—right foot, left foot. He’s confident, a hard worker, and a natural leader."

This friendly push comes as OL are still searching for a centre-forward this summer.
