Mexico leads the Concacaf Men’s National Team Rankings after March friendlies

MIAMI – Mexico maintains the lead in the latest Concacaf Men's National Team Rankings update following the international friendlies during the March window.
The Concacaf Ranking Index grades all national teams across the confederation. Nations gain points for results in the Nations League, Gold Cup, World Cup Qualifiers, and other international matches.

Mexico leads the rankings following March international friendlies
Reigning Concacaf Gold Cup and Nations League winners Mexico (2,015) leads the overall rankings after going unbeaten with draws against Portugal and Belgium in its friendlies during the March international window.
Fellow FIFA World Cup 26 co-hosts Canada (1,818) and the United States (1,740) remained in second and fourth, respectively.
Panama (1,803) also held its position at third overall, while Costa Rica (1,625) rounds out the top five.
Panama remains in the top three, leads Central American nations
Panama remains the highest-ranked Central American nation and third overall in the rankings after its double header against South Africa. Los Canaleros first drew 1-1, with Édgar Barcenas getting onto the scoresheet, before securing a 2-1 victory with goals from José Córdoba and Jiovany Ramos.
Costa Rica follows in second place. Honduras (1,549) at sixth overall, and Guatemala (1,440) at ninth, are next in the Central America top five, which is rounded out by Nicaragua (1,142).
Jamaica improves one position, climbs to top spot in the Caribbean
Jamaica (1,515), seventh overall, surged one spot to overtake Haiti for first place in the Caribbean following its participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Play-Off Tournament. The Reggae Boyz initially delivered an upset with a 1-nil victory over New Caledonia in the Semi-final of Path A of the tournament with a strike from Bailey Cadamarteri, before falling 1-nil against DR Congo and just missing out on a World Cup berth.
