Vivianne Miedema has been voted Etihad Women's Player of the Month for January.
The Dutch international came out on top in a three-player shortlist which also included Rebecca Knaak and Mary Fowler.
Over 7,500 votes were cast, with Miedema edging out her team-mates with a majority of 600.
The forward returned to action after a three-month recovery from injury and has more than hit the ground running for the Blues.
Featuring in three of our four matches across January, the Dutch international ended the month with four goals to her name.
First, Miedema came off the bench in her first match since October to complete the scoring in City's 3-0 win over Ipswich Town in the FA Cup.
The WSL's record goalscorer followed that up with a goal in her first Manchester derby, heading home at the Etihad and leading the line admirably despite a 4-2 defeat.
Rested for our 2-1 win over our rivals in the League Cup, the forward was back in the starting XI for our final match of January against Aston Villa and put in arguably her finest performance so far in a City shirt.
Two first half goals, the second a sumptuous curling strike which has been shortlisted for the WSL Goal of the Month prize, Miedema's clinical display spearheaded a deserved 4-2 win at Villa Park.
Unsurprisingly, the 28-year-old is also up for the WSL's Player of the Month prize after such a stellar January.
Congratulations to Viv on being named Etihad Player of the Month!
