Daichi Kamada is attracting Serie A interest as his Crystal Palace contract expires at the end of June, with Milan and Fiorentina among the clubs to have made enquiries during the 2026 World Cup.

Bild claims that Milan are pushing for a free transfer to San Siro, revisiting talks that came close to completion in 2023 before a change in the club’s ownership structure caused the deal to collapse.

Kamada joined Lazio instead, then switched to Crystal Palace, where he won the Conference League and enjoyed an impressive season under Oliver Glasner.

For Japan he has stood out in the group stage, scoring a last-minute equaliser against the Netherlands and registering the fastest goal in Japanese World Cup history against Tunisia after four minutes.

He is set to become a free agent and currently earns about €5.45 million per season at Palace. That availability is appealing to Serie A suitors, though his salary would remain a significant commitment.
