Andreas Schjelderup has emerged as one of the most coveted young attackers in European football following a strong start to the World Cup with Norway, with Milan and Como the latest clubs to register serious interest in the Benfica winger, joining Liverpool, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid in monitoring the 22-year-old.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Benfica value Schjelderup at approximately €30 million, double what Club Brugge were prepared to pay in January before a match-winning brace against Real Madrid prompted José Mourinho to pull him from the market.
Parma had also been keen in the winter window, with CEO Federico Cherubini admitting the club came close but ultimately fell short of completing a deal.

A left-footed right winger comfortable on either flank, Schjelderup contributed 10 goals and seven assists in 43 appearances for Benfica last season across all competitions, numbers that have attracted widespread attention.
His World Cup involvement has only raised his profile further, coming off the bench to help Norway beat Senegal 3-2 and reach the last 16.
His name has also been linked with Barcelona as a potential replacement for Marcus Rashford, though Schjelderup was measured when asked about those reports.
“It would be fantastic if those rumours were true, but at the moment I don’t know anything concrete,” he said. With his value rising rapidly and a list of suitors growing by the week, Benfica will have no shortage of options, or leverage, when serious negotiations begin.
