“We have finally closed the first game, which was fundamental. We worked on it for many years, perhaps too many. I’ve always been involved,” Milan President Scaroni told Repubblica via TMW.

“Now we can say that we’ll create a modern and efficient stadium, which will be active every day, like in all the most important European cities, but our stadium will be more beautiful. San Siro is old, but it has a fundamental characteristic: you watch the game so well. In the new stadium, it will be even better because fans will be closer to the pitch and the development will be even more vertical.”

The new stadium’s rendering is still not available, but it is believed that the new arena in San Siro, co-owned by Inter and Milan, will have 71,500 capacity and its construction will begin in 2027.
