Milan seal move for Luka Modric | OneFootball

Serie A side Milan have sealed the deal to bring Luka Modric to the club.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is an agreement in place between Milan and Luka Modric’s entourage for a free transfer. The Rossoneri found the breakthrough in talks after recently appointed sporting director Igli Tare travelled to Croatia to hold a meeting with Modric.

The 39-year-old has been ageing like fine wine and he showed it even last season with Real Madrid before the Spanish giants decided not to renew his contract.

Modric won 28 major trophies with Real Madrid, including six Champions League titles, four La Liga titles, and two Copa Del Rey titles. He ended his tenure at Los Blancos, being their most decorated player in the club’s history.

Modric’s ability to boss the midfield with a huge experience in his bag will help Milan form a Scudetto-challenging outfit following a tough season.
