According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sorloth is the latest striker targeted by Milan for next summer, as the Rossoneri have received hefty salary demands from Dusan Vlahovic and Robert Lewandowski.
Milan will be looking for a new centre-forward in the 2026-27 campaign, and several strikers have already been linked with a move to San Siro in recent months.
According to Gazzetta, the latest Rossoneri target is Atletico Madrid forward Sorloth, 30, who has scored 17 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions this season.
The pink paper claims that Atletico Madrid’s asking price is €40m including add-ons, but their demands will likely be lowered to circa €25m if the experienced striker fails to impress in the final games of the season and during the World Cup.

Gazzetta confirms that Milan directors had held talks with Lewandowski’s agent, but the Poland international’s salary demands are too high for the Rossoneri.
The same is true of Juventus’ forward Vlahovic, even if, in this case, the gap between the striker’s request and the club’s potential offer is not that big.

Both Vlahovic and Lewandowski are available on free transfers as their contracts expire this coming June.
Gazzetta reports that Chelsea-owned Nicolas Jackson and Club Brugges’ Nicolò Tresoldi, a U21 Germany international, are also on the Rossoneri’s agenda.
