Moises Caicedo casts doubt on his Chelsea future after Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella | OneFootball

Moises Caicedo is the latest Chelsea player to cast doubt on his future after Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella. 

The 24-year-old insisted he is not thinking about leaving the Blues but refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid. 

Caicedo is contracted until 2031, but he could push for an exit if the club fails to qualify for next season’s Champions League. 

Liam Rosenior’s side are sixth in the Premier League after picking up just three points from their last four games. 

When asked about a possible transfer to Madrid during an interview with AS, Caicedo said: “You never know in football, don’t you think? I have a contract with Chelsea now.

“The truth is, I haven’t honestly thought about another club, about leaving London, but well, in the end, you never know in football.” 

Caicedo is the third Chelsea player to raise doubts over his long-term future at Stamford Bridge. 

Fernandez caused outrage by admitting he would love to live in Madrid. 

Cucurella also made headlines by saying it would be difficult to turn down a move to Barcelona in the future. 

The Spaniard criticised the club’s youth transfer policy and their decision to sack Enzo Maresca as manager.

While Cucurella escaped punishment for his comments, Chelsea have banned Fernandez for two games.

The Argentine will not play the upcoming fixtures against Port Vale in the FA Cup and Manchester City in the Premier League. 

Fernandez’s agent Javier Pastore has hit back at the club, calling their decision ‘completely unfair’. He insisted his client never intended to disrespect Chelsea.
