Monaco searching the market for an Adi Hutter successor? | OneFootball

On the face of things, it hasn’t been a bad start to the season for AS Monaco. Fifth in Ligue 1 and just three points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, they are also coming off the back of a hard-earned draw against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

However, going into Sunday’s Côte d’Azur derby against OGC Nice, Adi Hutter’s position on the touchline isn’t absolutely secure, as per a report from L’Équipe. Whilst there have been four wins out of six for the Principality club in Ligue 1, the Austrian has expressed dissatisfaction with the performances.

There have also been two heavy defeats, one to Club Brugge in the Champions League (3-1) and one last time out in Ligue 1 against Lorient (3-1). In the wake of the latter defeat, Monaco have sounded out potential successors for Hutter, L’Équipe understands.

It isn’t the first time that the management at the Principality club have done so, but on the previous occasion, Hutter managed to find the results to keep him in the post. He must now do so again.
