Monaco’s Lucas Michal attracting Ligue 1 interest | OneFootball

One of the most promising prospects in AS Monaco’s academy, Saïmon Bouabré (19) is set to leave the club. The France youth international has agreed to join Saudi side Neom SC. Another academy product is now attracting considerable interest from Ligue 1 sides, according to a report from L’Équipe.

Lucas Michal (20) featured in 11 Ligue 1 games last season as he made the step from the academy to the first-team. The forward is looking for more game time next season, however, there is no guarantee that he will find that at the Principality club.

As per L’Équipe, he has attracted interest from FC Nantes, however, their loan proposal with a buy option has not convinced Monaco to cede Michal. Les Canaris are expected to make another approach. Thre is also interest from FC Metz, who seek a loan move, and Stade Brestois, who are interested in a permanent transfer. However, Monaco are yet to open the door for a departure.
