Morgan Gibbs-White has signed a new three-year contract with Nottingham Forest, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.
The midfielder’s future had been up in the air recently, with Tottenham showing serious interest and even tabling a £60 million offer earlier this month.
That approach caused a stir, with Forest accusing Spurs of acting improperly in their pursuit of the England international.
Despite the off-field drama, the 25-year-old has now put pen to paper on what Forest have described as a record deal for the club - ending any uncertainty over his immediate future.
Gibbs-White originally joined Forest from Wolves in 2022 and has become a key figure under Nuno Espirito Santo. He recorded seven goals and eight assists last season as Forest claimed a seventh-place finish in the top flight.
Interestingly, the contract extension was confirmed just moments after Forest suffered a 3-1 defeat to Fulham in a pre-season clash in Portugal.
