The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations reaches its climax this Sunday, January 18, with a highly anticipated final between Morocco and Senegal, two teams that have impressed throughout the tournament with their consistency and resilience.

As the host nation, Morocco booked their spot in the final after eliminating Nigeria in a dramatic penalty shootout (4-2), following a fiercely contested semi-final.

Senegal, on the other hand, punched their ticket by edging past Egypt (1-0), thanks to a decisive goal from their captain Sadio Mané.

Kick-off time and venue for the AFCON final

The grand final will take place this Sunday at the Prince Abdallah Stadium in Rabat.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 GMT (Senegal time) and 20:00 local time in Morocco.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Congolese referee Jean-Jacques Ndala to officiate the match, assisted by Guylain Bongele Ngila and Gradel Mwanya Mbilizi.

Styven Moutsassi Moyo from Congo will serve as the third official, while South African Tom Abongile has been named fourth official.
