Three players, Mory Diaw, Stan Berkani, and Abdellah Baallal, are rejoining the Clermont Foot squad on July 1, 2025, after loan spells or experiences abroad, aiming to bolster the team for the new season.
On the evening of Monday, June 30, Clermont Foot made official the departure of several players, but also welcomed back some Clermontois who spent the 2024/25 season away from Auvergne. Among them are Mory Diaw, Stan Berkani, and the young Abdellah Baallal. The Senegalese goalkeeper returns after a six-month spell with Rodez AF. The Algerian midfielders made their mark in Austria with SC Austria Lustenau, each playing 14 matches, with Abdellah netting two goals.
Le Havre has reached an agreement with Clermont for the transfer of Mory Diaw, who is under contract until 2026. The Senegalese goalkeeper is coming off a loan season at Rodez, where he made 11 appearances in Ligue 2. However, before finalizing the arrival of the 32-year-old keeper, the Normandy club must secure financial approval from the DNCG.
