Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is the latest star name across the footballing world to add his name to the walking wounded after coming off injured against Augsburg.
The 22-year-old midfielder remains a leading light at the Allianz Arena under Vincent Kompany and added a match equaliser three minutes before the interval against Fuggerstädter to negate Dimitrios Giannoulis' 30th-minute opener.
But Kompany and Bayern have been dealt a severe blow with Musiala suffering an apparent hamstring injury.
He now becomes one of many top-level footballers who have dealt with the ever-increasing injury, which is now far more prevalent compared to recent seasons.
In the aftermath of Bayern's eventual 3-1 win, club director Max Eberl confirmed that the injury did not appear to be minor, stating “Jamal Musiala’s injury, unfortunately, doesn’t look good."
Eberl also confirmed he would miss the upcoming Champions League clash with Inter on Tuesday evening, with Musiala being added to a growing injury list that Kompany must contend with.
