With Matchweek 15 in the books (check out our must-read Talking Points), we bring you the best performers in their respective positions for the round, using the Roshn Saudi League’s unique Performance Index (explainer below).

The Brazilian was key to Al Okhdood sealing only their second win of the season. In keeping a first clean sheet in the 2025-26 RSL, in the 1-0 win at home to Al Kholood, Portugal made two saves, while he registered a game-high for both successful long balls (six) and recoveries (eight).

Nacho (Al Qadsiah) - 98

The Al Qadsiah captain continues to prove just why he’s considered a Real Madrid great.

Nacho was his typical commanding self in the 5-0 home victory against Al Fayha, with a game-high successful long balls (nine) and recoveries (eight), while he ranked joint-highest for interceptions (two). It all contributed to his fifth clean sheet of the campaign.

Gaston Alvarez (Al Qadsiah) - 95

Alongside Nacho in that impenetrable back three, Alvarez was key in achieving his second clean sheet of 2025-26. The Uruguayan led the game for successful passes (117), total touches (132) and chances created (two).

Muhannad Al Shanqiti (Al Ittihad) - 93

The Saudi Arabian full-back proved integral to the RSL champions taking a point at Damac, when he opened the scoring right on half-time - his third goal in 11 RSL appearances this term.

Al Shanqiti also led the match, which finished 1-1, in successful dribbles (67 percent) and fouls won (three), while his two tackles won ranked joint highest.

Norman Gyomber (Al Kholood) - 92

The Slovak centre-back may have ended up on the losing side, but it wasn’t through a lack of trying. Gyomber won the most tackles in the game at Al Okhdood (two), and his six recoveries was bettered by only four players. It’s just a shame his endeavour didn’t result in at least a point for his Al Kholood side.

Amir Sayoud (Al Hazem) - 96

The star of a truly extraordinary clash with Al Najmah, the Algerian began Al Hazem’s fightback from 2-0 down, drew the hosts level six minutes into injury-time, and then watched in disbelief as the Ar Rass outfit somehow prevailed 3-2.

Sayoud not only ranked highest for goals, but shots on target (four) and successful dribbles (four).

Ruben Neves (Al Hilal) - 96

What a performance from Al Hilal’s tempo-setter. The Portugal international was deployed in a back three for the top-of-the-table Capital Derby against Al Nassr - and he didn’t disappoint.

It was Neves who teed up Mohammed Kanno for Al Hilal to take a late lead, while his penalty secured the 3-1 win. Meanwhile, he led the contest for recoveries (nine) and touches (68).

Julian Weigl (Al Qadsiah) - 91

The summer signing has slotted seamlessly into the Al Qadsiah midfield. His display in the massive home victory against Al Fayha offered another example of the German’s influence: only two players had more touches in the game than his 92, while it was his assist that created the hosts’ opening goal.

Konstantinos Fortounis (Al Khaleej) - 90

The 2025-26 RSL’s lead assister was once more pivotal to Al Khaleej winning again. The Greece international, who tops the charts with 10, stayed cool from the spot right on half-time to draw the level at Al Ettifaq, setting the platform for a 2-1 triumph.

Also, Fortounis supplied a game-high for chances created (five), shots on target (three), successful long passes (seven), fouls won (three), and touches (79).

Julian Quinones (Al Qadsiah) - 100

The only player this matchweek to achieve a perfect rating, and it’s easy to see why. Quinones has been in red-hot form, continuing that with a hat-trick in the win against Al Fayha.

In fact, his three goals came from three shots on target, meaning he concluded the match with a 100% conversion rate, the match ball and the Man of the Match award. The Mexican now sits joint-third in the scoring charts, with 12.

Yannick Carrasco (Al Shabab) - 97

Al Shabab’s talisman was simply incredible in his side’s first victory since September. Carrasco assisted the opener against NEOM Sports Club at Al Awwal Park, then scored twice in four minutes around the hour to completely flip the match and seal the 3-2 victory.

No one had more shots on target (five) or created more chances (four), while his 68 touches ranked as Al Shabab’s highest.
