NADIR ZORTEA JOINS BOLOGNA

Bologna FC 1909 is pleased to announce the permanent signing of defender Nadir Zortea from Cagliari Calcio.

A right-footed full-back born in 1999, Nadir can also play as a wide midfielder. Known for his offensive runs, pace, and excellent ball control, he has great vision and the ability to contribute to the attack. Comfortable using his weaker foot, Zortea can drift both wide and inside, entering the box and shooting at the far post when needed.

Zortea began his career in Atalanta’s youth ranks. After a Serie B stint with Cremonese, he spent a season in Serie A with Salernitana before returning to Bergamo. In 2024/25, he joined Cagliari, delivering his best Serie A performance to date with 38 appearances (league and Coppa Italia), 6 goals, and 2 assists.
