Napoli complete Alisson Santos deal, weigh Khalaili or Dodo for right-back | OneFootball

Napoli have completed the permanent signing of Alisson Santos from Sporting CP for €16m, and are now down to two options at right-back.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Sporting were informed today the purchase option had been triggered, following January’s €3.5m loan, while Sportitalia claims Napoli’s first choice would be Anan Khalaili, who has long been on their radar.

The left-sided winger impressed after arriving in January. He scored four goals in 14 Serie A appearances, and a permanent switch rarely looked in doubt.

Union Saint-Gilloise have set an asking price of €25m for the Israel international, which is considered too steep, especially with Giovanni Di Lorenzo still in the squad.

If the Belgians do not lower their demands, it is more likely Napoli will turn to Dodo, who is ready to leave Fiorentina for €15m.
