According to Tuttosport, Dusan Vlahovic’s stay at Juventus is increasingly unlikely as Napoli have opened preliminary talks with the striker’s entourage, but Newcastle, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested.

Juventus striker Vlahovic is unlikely to stay at Juventus beyond the summer as his contract at the Allianz Stadium expires next month.

Napoli open talks with Vlahovic

According to Tuttosport, Juventus’ domestic rivals Napoli have opened preliminary talks with Vlahovic’s father and, unlike the Bianconeri, can offer the 26-year-old a place in a team playing in the Champions League next season.

The same is true of Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, while, according to Tuttosport, Newcastle can still convince Vlahovic to join them, but only with a ‘very inviting economic proposal.’

The Magpies finished the 2025-26 season in 12th in the Premier League, missing out on European qualification.

Juventus have long been in talks to extend Vlahovic’s contract, but they’ve offered their star striker a pay cut from his current €12m-a-year deal, and the lack of Champions League football in 2026-27 surely won’t help the Bianconeri in negotiations.

“At Christmas, Vlahovic and I shut ourselves in a room, and he assured me he wouldn’t move during the January window. That’s exactly what happened,” Juventus director Damien Comolli told Gazzetta on Wednesday.

“We would like to continue with our centre-forward, but it depends on Dusan and his father.”

Napoli are looking for a replacement for their coach, Antonio Conte, who has left after two seasons at the Stadio Maradona.

The leading candidates are Vincenzo Italiano and Massimiliano Allegri, two former coaches of Vlahovic at Fiorentina and Juventus.

Vlahovic scored 20 goals in 24 appearances under Italiano at Fiorentina and netted 41 times in 99 games with Juventus under Allegri,
