The left-back has joined Bayern Munich with immediate effect after two years in the heart of Europe.

Nathaniel Brown, 23, joined Eintracht from 1. FC Nürnberg in summer 2024 and went on to make 75 competitive appearances for the club, registering seven goals and 13 assists. The left-back made his Eagles debut in the first round of the 2024/25 DFB Cup against Eintracht Braunschweig, before being handed his Bundesliga bow two months later away to 1. FC Union Berlin.

Brown played 26 games in the Bundesliga, four in the UEFA Europa League and three in the DFB Cup in his first season in Frankfurt, helping the club finish third in the top flight and secure a place in the UEFA Champions League. As well as appearing in 33 of a possible 34 top-flight games in 2025/26, he featured in all eight of the Eagles’ matches in Europe’s premier club competition and made one further appearance in the DFB Cup.

The wideman progressed from the Germany Under-21s to the senior international side during his time with Eintracht. He won his first Germany cap under Julian Nagelsmann in October 2025 and was part of his country’s starting XI at the FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “Nene has made impressive progress at Eintracht Frankfurt. We obviously would have liked him to stay with us, but he also expressed a desire to take the next step in his career by moving to Bayern Munich. After open, honest discussions, we agreed to his request. We’d like to thank Nene for his successful contribution during his time with Eintracht and wish him all the best for his future, both on and off the pitch.”

Brown: “I’d like to thank everyone at Eintracht Frankfurt from the bottom of my heart for an unforgettable time. I’ve enjoyed every single day here, every training session and every game. The club, the team, the staff and, above all, the fans made sure I felt welcome and at home here from day one. Moving to Frankfurt has been one of the best decisions of my life so far. I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to develop as a player and as a person here, and to have experienced so many special moments. For that, I will always carry Eintracht Frankfurt in my heart.

“I wish the entire club, my team-mates, the coaching staff, all other members of staff and the fans nothing but the very best for the future. I’ll never forget my time here and am already looking forward to returning to Deutsche Bank Park and seeing so many familiar faces again next season.”
