Noel Aseko could be the next player to leave FC Bayern. Eintracht Frankfurt is actively pursuing talks with the talented midfielder—and Bayern Munich stands to receive a transfer fee in the tens of millions.
Following the transfers of Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown, FC Bayern may soon face its next major personnel decision. This time, however, it’s not about a new signing, but rather a promising homegrown talent.
According to BILD, Eintracht Frankfurt is in advanced talks with Noel Aseko. The Hessian club is reportedly extremely optimistic that it can convince the 20-year-old U21 national team player to make the move. A verbal agreement between the club and the player could therefore be reached shortly.
Frankfurt has long-term plans for Aseko and is said to be offering the versatile midfielder a contract through 2030, including an option for an additional year. Coach Adi Hütter and club officials see him as a key building block for the newly formed midfield.
Whether the transfer goes through, however, also depends on FC Bayern. The Munich club had reacquired Aseko via a buyback option after his strong loan season at Hannover and is still internally evaluating whether the right-footed player should be given a spot on Vincent Kompany’s professional roster.
Should the record champions nevertheless decide to sell him, the move is likely to bring in a substantial amount of money. According to BILD, FC Bayern is demanding a transfer fee of at least ten to twelve million euros.

The connection between the two clubs is providing additional talking points. Just a few days ago, Bayern and Eintracht agreed on the transfer of Nathaniel Brown to Munich. The left back will cost the record champions a total of up to 55 million euros, and he has signed a contract through 2031.
The relationship between sporting directors Markus Krösche and Max Eberl is considered excellent. Since Bayern benefited from these good relations during the Brown transfer, Frankfurt might now hope for a quick agreement in the bidding war for Aseko.
Whether the German record champions will actually let their talented midfielder go or still see a future for him under Kompany is likely to be decided in the coming days.
