Multiple sources in Italy claim Monza are considering the future of Alessandro Nesta after a 2-1 loss to Juventus, which left the Brianzoli at the bottom of the Serie A table.
Former Italy defender Nesta is walking on thin ice at Monza as the team has only collected 10 points in the opening 17 matches and was pushed to the bottom of the rankings after the latest round.
Monza directors hinted after last night’s game that Nesta’s job was safe, but the latest updates from Sport Mediaset and Sky Sport Italia suggest otherwise.

According to the Italian broadcasters, Monza are now seriously considering sacking Nesta hoping to turn things around in the second part of the season.
The Brianzoli will meet direct rivals Parma and Cagliari in the following two rounds and club directors could decide to shake the team by hiring a new coach.
Nesta signed a one-year deal with Monza last summer, with an option to be activated in case of survival. This is Nesta’s first Serie A season as a coach.
