Sky Germany – as relayed by transfermarkt.de – reports that Eintracht Frankfurt have reached an agreement with Newcastle in the matter of Danish striker William Osula. The Bundesliga outfit’s pursuit of the 22-year-old will yield a loan deal set to take effect in January. Osula will move to Eintracht on loan with an option to buy. Frankfurt have structured a deal with a familiar set of clauses.

The deal is reported to have similar parameters as the loan that sent French striker Hugo Ekitiké to the Hessen outfit. The current Liverpool forward was initially loaned to Eintracht by PSG for a loan fee in the neighborhood of €3.5m. The SGE then purchased Ekitiké permanently for €16.5m. An additional €15m then flowed into the PSG coffers via a re-sale clause when Ekitiké moved Merseyside.

Sky claims that Newcastle too will receive a €3m loan fee and the purchase clause will total around €20m. Presumably, a re-sale clause is also part of the arrangement. Frankfurt remain desperate to secure the services of a proven striker due to a recent injury to leading goalscorer Jonathan Burkardt and form issues afflicting back-up option Elye Wahi.
