Newcastle United are weighing up a move for Johan Manzambi, with Sky Sports and the Daily Mail reporting the Freiburg and Switzerland midfielder is on their radar.
The 20-year-old has carried his club form into the World Cup, scoring three and supplying one assist in three games for Switzerland so far.

That follows an impressive 2025/26 with Freiburg, where he registered seven goals and nine assists across 47 appearances.
A fee of around €46-48 million could be enough to convince the Bundesliga side to sell.
Manzambi is under contract until 2030 and has no release clause.
