Jarrod Bowen will be a target for Newcastle United if West Ham United go down, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Magpies have all but condemned West Ham to relegation after a 3-1 win over them at St James’ Park on Sunday.

The Hammers will have to sell key players if they go down, and Newcastle are monitoring the ‘unbelievable‘ Bowen.

Newcastle will not be the only Premier League club keen on the 29-year-old England international, as Everton manager David Moyes may want a reunion.

The former West Ham boss brought Bowen to the London Stadium from Hull City in 2020, and they could be willing to work together again.

Newcastle are looking to replace Anthony Gordon, and Bowen fits the bill despite his age.

He has bagged 84 goals and 62 assists in 279 games for West Ham, and he would be a solid addition for the Magpies.

Bowen has proven himself in the Premier League and could be a short-term upgrade on Gordon.

Newcastle have missed out entirely on qualification for European football next season, and could lose some of their top targets to clubs who will play in continental competitions.

They were close to being drawn into the relegation battle after four consecutive league defeats heading into May.

However, they turned things around with two wins and a draw in their last three matches.
