Newcastle United midfielder McQuade signs new deal | OneFootball

Newcastle United midfielder Jasmine McQuade has signed a new contract with the club until summer 2028.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Magpies this afternoon.

The 23-year-old midfielder initially joined Newcastle United’s development team after impressing with The Magpies’ Tyne-Tees neighbours Middlesbrough. McQuade has gone on to break into the senior squad and she is now a household name for Newcastle United in Barclays WSL2. She was an FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division winner with the club back in 2023/2024.

McQuade has made 12 appearances for Newcastle United in Barclays WSL2 this season, scoring two goals. She has helped the club mount a bid for promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League. McQuade has a big future in the game and The Magpies have therefore moved to retain the player’s services for an extended period.

After signing on again with Newcastle United, McQuade said “I’m over the moon. I love being at this club and to extend my stay is amazing.

“The club is so ambitious, we just strive for success. The club has no limits, and I love being part of it.”

Newcastle United will return to action following the March international window. They face Sheffield United in their next Barclays WSL2 match at Bramall Lane on Saturday 14 March 2026.
