The 33-year-old worked as a fan representative at Säbener Straße for more than ten years and regularly accompanied the Munich team to away matches in this role. Now the younger of the Müller brothers has decided to quit FC Bayern

As reported by BILD, the decision was made a few months ago. According to the report, Simon Müller wants to pursue a new career. He also wants to make more use of his time in the future to visit his brother Thomas in Canada

Thomas Müller has been playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps since August 2025. After more than two decades at FC Bayern, the club icon said „Servus“ last year. Now brother Simon is following suit – albeit in a significantly different role

Simon Müller celebrates his farewell with the double

Simon Müller’s last business trip as a Bayern employee took him to Berlin of all places. The world champion’s brother was once again on duty as a fan advisor at the DFB Cup final against VfB Stuttgart

The 33-year-old’s farewell could hardly have been more successful, with FC Bayern winning the final 3-0 to clinch the double. Simon Müller was therefore able to round off his last trip as an employee of the German record champions with a title win

Unlike Thomas Müller, who was publicly bid farewell as a Bayern legend last year, there was no big farewell ceremony for Simon in front of the fans. Nevertheless, his last day at work was a special moment for him

His parents Gerhard and Klaudia Müller had also traveled to Berlin and were both in the stands for the cup final, accompanying their son as he bid farewell to FC Bayern

The Müller family was also there after the final whistle, with Gerhard and Klaudia Müller celebrating the Munich team’s cup triumph together with Simon at the subsequent party in the „Kraftwerk“

Even during Thomas Müller’s time at Bayern, his parents were regularly seen in the stadium. On Saturday, however, the club icon was absent in Berlin. The 36-year-old was in action himself, as he was playing with the Vancouver Whitecaps at San Diego FC the day after the German Cup final

The Müller brothers are considered to have a particularly close bond. Thomas and Simon played together at their home club TSV Pähl as children, and Simon continued to follow his brother’s international career from close quarters.
