Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo keen to join Juventus dealing a blow to West Ham’s pursuit | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, Jean-Clair Todibo (24) is interested in joining Juventus during the summer transfer window. The Nice defender is a potential target for many European clubs including West Ham United and Aston Villa in the Premier League.

West Ham United had an initial bid of €35m rejected by Nice for the France international defender. They are not the only club to have an attempted offer rebuffed by the Ligue 1 club with the Serie A club’s opening proposal also dealt with in the same manner. Nice-Matin reports that the Hammers are still in the race for the 24-year-old.

However, with Juventus in negotiations over a potential loan move with a mandatory buy clause included in the deal, it appears a deal between the Bianconeri and Todibo could be getting closer. This paired with the player’s willingness to join the Serie A club deals a potential to the Premier League club’s pursuit of the French centre-back.
