Standing at 189 centimetres tall, he boasts great physical strength and power, excels at holding up the ball with his back to goal, and has the ability to support and push the team forward. He has chosen the number 9 shirt, as he embodies the profile of a true No. 9, and with a strong desire to play for Milan he is ready to prove it in our colours. Füllkrug knows how to score, how to move cleverly and forcefully into the penalty area. His career has grown through patience, hard work and constant improvement: a path that led to his senior debut for the German national team in November 2022, just a week before the World Cup in Qatar, where he made his mark by scoring against Spain and Costa Rica. Overall, with Germany - first under Flick and then Nagelsmann - he has earned 24 caps and scored 14 goals.

The 2022/23 season marked his breakthrough and full arrival: he scored 16 goals in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen, sharing the top-scorer title in Germany with… Christopher Nkunku, who he would later reunite with at Milanello as a teammate in the Rossoneri attack. From London to Milan, a shared journey for both, giving new momentum to their careers through goals. He then played the 2023/24 season with Borussia Dortmund, scoring crucial goals, particularly in the Champions League; goals that contributed to the Yellow-and-Black's remarkable run to the final, lost to Real Madrid at Wembley. At AC Milan, he joins a fellow German, David Odogu, who arrived in the summer from Wolfsburg.
