After having had a difficult period in the early parts of the last season, Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni bounced back strongly over the second half of the campaign.

Having won over the fans, who at one stage whistled at him, the French international has continued his strong run under the new management of Xabi Alonso.

Indeed, the former AS Monaco man is already proving to be the linchpin in Alonso’s tactical setup at Real Madrid and is set for a major role going forward.

Real Madrid knock back two offers for Tchouameni

As such, Defensa Central reports that Real Madrid have knocked back at least two approaches that arrived for Tchouameni in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Several intermediaries have enquired with Real Madrid about the Frenchman’s situation, and the club has been clear.

“He is not for sale,” was the response given by the team at Alonso’s request.

At Real Madrid, it is believed that with Alonso’s guidance, the best version of Tchouameni can emerge. As such, he is considered one of the team’s untouchable players. This is the firm position Los Blancos have taken regarding the Frenchman’s future.

Since arriving at Real Madrid, Alonso has been particularly attentive to Tchouameni, aware that the Frenchman is key to the team’s balance and smooth functioning. The Frenchman, for his part, is responding to his coach’s trust.

As such, Real Madrid have declared him ‘non-transferable’ and have knocked back all approaches that have come forward for him.

If Tchouameni continues in the same vein of form this season, it is not ruled out that Florentino Perez & Co. will offer him a new contract extension in 2026.
