Joao Pedro has been challenged to kick on and find another level by Liam Rosenior, who is already getting the best out of him.

Liam Rosenior is known as a man manager, and he’s certainly been able to get the best out of Joao Pedro.
The Brazilian striker has shown his best form since Rosenior’s arrival in January, and the new man still wants to see more.
“Joao is someone that everybody knows has got extreme potential, but now he’s at an age where he has to go on and fulfil that potential,” the manager said in quotes on the club’s official website.
“Nothing would make me happier than to see him score more goals, help us win the FA Cup and qualify for the Champions League, and wear the No9 shirt for Brazil in the World Cup. I’ve challenged him. I’m demanding of him. So far, he’s taken up that challenge really, really well.”
Today is the perfect day to lay down that challenge – we’re facing potentially the strongest team in the league, on a day they need to win. If JP wants to be known as one of the world’s best, these are the games he needs to stand up and be counted.
Rosenior also spoke about the way he wanted his team to play in today’s game, promising attacking football from the off.
Liverpool won and the two teams behind Chelsea in the table drew yesterday as the league tightened up at the top even more.
