Nottingham Forest confirm three friendlies during 12-day Portugal camp | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest will play three pre-season friendlies during a 12-day training camp in Portugal next month under head coach Vitor Pereira.

They face Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday, July 22, 11am BST, at the Estadio de Nora. Vitoria de Guimaraes follow behind closed doors on Sunday, July 26, before Sporting at the Estadio Algarve on Friday, July 31, kick-off to be confirmed. The club said in a statement that further fixtures would be confirmed in due course, with ticketing and streaming information to follow.

Pereira’s squad will reconvene to begin their build-up for the new campaign, then head to the coach’s homeland for the camp.

Forest’s 2026/27 Premier League fixtures were released last week. They open at home to Leeds United on August 22, then visit Liverpool on August 29.

After surviving relegation last season, Forest aim to push higher up the table. Pereira oversaw an impressive turnaround after his February appointment and the club are eager to secure an immediate return to European football, having reached the Europa League semi-finals under him.
