According to Globo.com, the Campeonato Paulista final between Novorizontino and Palmeiras will open at Arena Crefisa Barueri, with the second leg at Estádio Jorge Ismael de Biasi. Novorizontino will therefore decide the title at home.
Home advantage and the order of legs were determined by total points across the competition, covering the first phase and the knockouts. The Federação Paulista de Futebol will formalise details at a technical congress on Monday. The games are scheduled for Wednesday and Sunday.
Novorizontino earned the right to host the return because they produced the best overall campaign. Both finalists reached the decider with identical campaigns, but Novorizontino finished with a superior goal difference to Palmeiras.
Novorizontino led the first phase with 16 points, then beat Santos in the quarter-finals and Corinthians in the semi-final.
Palmeiras were second in the opening phase, also on 16 points, and defeated Capivariano in the quarter-finals and São Paulo in the semi-final. They could have taken the right to host the second leg had they erased a difference of four goals in goal difference to Novorizontino in the cumulative standings.
