Tottenham Hotspur entertained Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result at home in the FA Cup. Spurs made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 22nd minute when Emi Buendia found the back of the net. Morgan Rogers doubled his team’s advantage in the first half injury-time as Thomas Frank’s men trailed 2-0 at the half-time interval.
Wilson Odobert got a goal back for the home side in the 54th minute. However, Tottenham failed to score the leveller and crashed to a tough 2-1 loss in front of their home fans.
