Official: 3 Real Madrid stars included in World Cup Team of the Tournament | OneFootball

A trio of players from the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been afforded places in the official Team of the Tournament for the 2026 World Cup.

The latest edition of the biggest showcase in international football was of course brought to a close this past weekend.

When all was said and done following a summer packed with goals, quality and memorable moments, it was Spain who emerged triumphant courtesy of an extra-time victory over Argentina.

Three members of Luis de la Fuente’s squad, in turn, have been named in FIFA’s Team of the Tournament, namely Pedro Porro, Rodri, and Real Madrid’s Marc Cucurella.

Moving further up the pitch, Blancos standout Jude Bellingham is also recognised for his efforts, with teammate and Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappé joining Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland in a star-studded front three.
